[PEH REE PLA]

French for "odyssey" (or journey), which in my opinion is the perfect word to describe my approach to making handcrafted wines. The English dictionary definition of the word "od-ys-sey" (ŏďĩ-sē) n. An extended, adventurous wandering," is even more accurate when it comes to our philosophy of winemaking.

My adventurous journey has led me to wander the best regions in the western states to discovery what I believe to be the best varietals, from the best vineyards, in the best regions. I will extend my efforts with fresh perspective for every possible discovery, whether it’s in California, Oregon, or Washington. Training under Helen Turley for almost 5 years leaves me partial to the Russian River and Sonoma Coast Pinot Noirs. However, the valuable skills I learned training with her Napa Valley clients bring a fresh twist to my full-bodied Washington Syrahs.

"Geographic territories are for roadmaps, not winemaking."

Residing in Northwest allows the accessibility to the best vineyards in not only California, but Washington and Oregon as well.  Sure, there is a little more driving involved, but the increased quality of life makes it well worth the extra miles.
